Hotel Stein - Adults Only garners praise for its excellent location near the Salzach River, making it easy to visit all the sights. Guests love the rooftop bar, which has breathtaking views of the river and fortress; however, some have noted noise from nearby streets can be heard despite closed windows. the location was great. i could easily walk to most sites. the restaurant upstairs was nice (i liked the atmosphere). the staff treated me well.
information about the parking space was unclear. "private parking" is listed, but it has a very limited number of slots. i was not lucky enough to reserve a slot. i had to park somewhere nearby, costing nearly €50 a day (that's too much).

The hotel listed parking as a facility, but it does NOT exist. Reception directed us to an off-site parking garage with a height restriction that our car couldn't clear.
